2024/2025 Argentina Soy Estimate Left Unchanged at 50 Million Tons

Soybean harvest in Argentina last week stood at 64.9%, which represented an increase of 20% from the prior week. This is the slowest soybean harvest in 11 years. The nationwide soybean yield is now estimated at 3,200 kg/ha (47.6 bu/ac) which is up 8% year on year. The early planted soybeans are 73.6% harvested with an average yield of 3,260 kg/ha (48.5 bu/ac). Double crop soybeans are 41.9% harvested with an average yield of 2,660 kg/ha (39.6 bu/ac). The soybean yields range from 1,500 to 3,800 kg/ha (22.3 to 56.0 bu/ac). Soybean yields in central Argentina are better than expected.

Sales of the 2024/2025 soybean crop in Argentina are at 28.7% which is slowest in over a decade. The 10-year average for this date is 36.1%.
